Taking inspiration from his wife's garden in Spain, McLean continues to explore organic, floral themes with Red Garden Path, Turquoise Hosepipe Ban and Lindheimer's Beeblossom. Through mark-making and layering of motifs, McLean builds up depth and creates areas of dark shadow alongside the bold and bright palette to recreate the lush environment and flickering light.
